Consultation

Site Visit & Assessment

.Every project begins with a detailed, on-site consultation. I will visit your location to assess material type (stone, masonry, etc.), surface integrity, structural stability, and existing weathering or damage. Together we’ll discuss your conservation goals, align with heritage compliance and listed status (if applicable), and outline workflows for digital capture or traditional repair. This step ensures any restoration or reconstruction is faithful, sustainable, and respectful of historic fabric.

Virtual to Physical Reconstruction

What’s Included:

  • High-resolution 3D capture: structured light scanning, photogrammetry, drone imaging.

  • Digital restoration using haptic “digital clay” sculpting to revive sculptural detail.

  • Full fabrication options: CNC milling, robotic machining, or real stone additive processes matching original material (limestone, sandstone, terracotta, etc.).

  • Optional: scale prototype / maquette; AR visualisations so you can preview form and detail before committing to final work

Our Scan & Sculpt service combines high-resolution 3D scanning with expert digital sculpting to recreate damaged, missing, or complex heritage elements with extraordinary precision. Whether for replication, restoration, or documentation, this service bridges traditional artistry with cutting-edge digital workflows.

Unlike generic scanning providers or purely digital services, Scan & Sculpt is led by a seasoned sculptor with over 30 years’ experience in stone, wood, and steel. This service ensures your restoration carries not just technical accuracy, but also the subtle craftsmanship that honours the original maker’s intent.

Whether you're a conservation architect, museum, or private estate—this service gives you a high-quality, future-proof solution rooted in both tradition and innovation.
